Izmir Districts Where Residence Permits are Restricted

As of July 1, 2022, 1,169 Neighborhoods Restricted for Turkish Residence Permits ,Due to the high density of foreigners in various regions of Turkey, the Turkish Ministry had previously restricted 781 neighborhoods in certain provinces for temporary protection registration, international protection registration, residence permits, and other processes related to foreign residency. These restrictions excluded cases such as newborn registrations and nuclear family reunifications.

Effective July 1, 2022, the number of districts and neighborhoods where foreigners are not eligible to obtain a Turkish residence permit has increased to 1,169.
